Overall, Evidence Blaster is a decent Privacy Software, although it is not as polished as our top rated product, Evidence Eliminator.

Evidence Blaster supported 30 additional plugins, lower than many of the products reviewed. A plugin is a small piece of interface software that allows your computer to erase the history of the last used files within certain desktop applications like image viewers, graphical editors, chat, email, readers, etc.
Evidence Blaster's Internet browser cleaning features included address bar, auto-complete, cache (Temporary Internet Files), cookies, and history of visited URLs. The Windows cleaning features included clipboard data, find/search history, index.dat files, MS Office history, recently opened documents, run History, temporary files/directories, and user selected files/directories. It also had cleaning options available at startup and with the ability to schedule.
Evidence Blaster allowed you to overwrite files from 3-20 times and had special options that allowed you to save valuable cookies and provided a stealth mode and logging. Evidence Blaster provided hotkeys to hide/unhide the browser and an immediate cleaning of the system. The product supports Internet Explorer/MSN, Netscape Mail, and Outlook Express.
Its help and documentation were not as good as most of the other products. Technical support availability includes a live chat forum, one of the few products to provide this function, and an FAQ section. Supported environments for Evidence Blaster include XP, NT4, 2000, ME, 98, and 95. No online update capabilities were available.
